COBRAS FALL TO NEWBERRY IN SEASON OPENER

Newberry, SC - The Cobras were downed 7-0 by fellow South Atlantic Conference team Newberry this evening.

Newberry was voted to finish second in the SAC Preseason Field Hockey Poll, right behind Mount Olive who is ranked 7th in the country in Division II. The next opportunity for the Cobras to notch one in the win column will be this coming Tuesday, September 10th, when Coker plays host to the Bulldogs of Wingate.
