Cobras Fall to Pioneers on Homecoming Saturday

HARTSVILLLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's basketball team dropped a South Atlantic Conference matchup on Saturday (Feb. 11) to the visiting Tusculum College Pioneers by a score of 93-83.
Five Cobras scored in double figures, led by the 16 points and 13 rebounds of Miguel Priest. Priest finished the game shooting 5-9 from the field and 6-8 from the charity stripe. Demarco Jackson finished with a career-high 15 points on a perfect 4-4 shooting. LaDarius Williams and Nathan Lemke finished with 12 points each, Lemke pulling down eight rebounds. Jake Barrett rounded out the double-digit scoring for the Cobras, chipping in 10 points.
The Cobras will be back in action on Wednesday (Feb. 15) when they travel to Wingate to face the Bulldogs.
