How It Happened:
- Jonah Vaysbakh opened the scoring for the Cobras, making a layup off a Zundra Jackson pass to give the Cobras the opening lead.
- Isayah Owens got hot early as he assisted Predrag Ponisic for a layup. He followed up with a steal and another lay-up to make it 6-3 in favour of the Cobras. On the Trojans' next trip down the court, Owens got the rebound off a missed 3-pointer and later converted a 3 of his own to give the Cobras a 6-point lead over the home team.
- The Cobras held onto the lead, going shot-for-shot with the Trojans.
- The Trojans came back into this match-up, getting a 6-point lead at one point. However, the Cobras slithered their way back into the game to tie it all up courtesy of Ryan Webster, who went on a 6-point run to retake the lead with a little over 5 minutes left to play in the first half.
- The rest of this half became a shootout between the two teams, with both sides making baskets left and right. Going into the halftime break, the Cobras trailed 44-49.
