Coker Falls to RV Carson-Newman at Home
Hartsville, S.C.: The Cobras welcomed the Carson-Newman Eagles to the Deloach Center for the 2nd conference match of the season. The visiting Eagles defeated the Cobras 78-72.

How It Happened:
- Zundra Jackson started the scoring off for the Cobras to tie the game up at 2-2 at the end of the first minute of the game.
- The Cobras took the lead at 17:02 via a 3-pointer from Ryan Webster, assisted by Isayah Owens, to make the score 7-6.
- Aaron Hall gave the Cobras the lead again at 12:05 after making a huge defensive play, then combining with Predrag Ponisic to make the score 15-14.
- The visiting Eagles spent the rest of the half building up a lead over the Cobras, and going into the halftime break, the Cobras were down 39-27.
- After the halftime break, the Cobras started to fight back against the Eagles, outscoring the visitors 45-39.
- The Eagles were able to maintain their lead from halftime through the first ten minutes of the second half.
- Coker started to claw away at the Eagles' lead by going on an 8-point run, which started off with a big corner 3 from Ryan Webster. Isayah Owens added to the run, making both free throws and then following up on the next trip to the basket with a long 3 to make this a 2-point game.
- However, the Cobras were not able to retake the lead as they fell 78-72 to the visitors.

The Cobras will be welcoming the Newberry College Wolves next Wednesday night. This game will tip off at 7:30, following the end of the Coker Women's Basketball game at 5:30.
