2023-24: Did not play this season... Named to 2023-24 South Atlantic Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll
Previous to Coker: Nigro had a successful athletic career at Lee Park Prep, participating in soccer, cross country, basketball, and baseball for the Knights. In soccer, he achieved numerous accolades, including being named 4x All-Conference in the Metro Area Athletic Conference, 3x All-State in the Carolina State Athletic Association, and 3x All Super Regional in the National Christian School Athletic Association. He was also recognized as the United Soccer Coaches National Player of the Week twice and helped his team win the State Championship twice in the Carolina State Athletic Association. In cross country, Nigro earned the title of All-State in the Carolina State Athletic Association. Outside of sports, Nigro was also involved in other activities at school. He excelled academically, earning a place on the Honor Roll and graduating Summa Cum Laude. Additionally, he participated in ACTS, Choir, Production, and Performing Arts, showcasing his talents and interests beyond athletics.
Personal: He is the son of Jennifer and Matthew Nigro. Coming from a history of athletics, Kolden's parents both attended the University of Nebraska where his father wrestled/played rugby and his mother cheered. Nigro is also the oldest of eight siblings followed by Elena (17), Viviana (15), Asher (13), Lilia (11), Tatum (9), Isla (6), and Farrah (4).
