Cobra Men's Tennis Tabbed Ninth in Preseason Poll
The Coker College men’s tennis team is a top 10 team in Conference Carolinas according to the 2012 Men’s Tennis Preseason Coaches Poll released on Monday.
HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Coker College men's tennis team is a top 10 team in Conference Carolinas according to the 2012 Men's Tennis Preseason Coaches Poll released on Monday. The Cobras were voted in at the No. 9 spot according to the poll.
Under the leadership of first year head coach Tom Simpson, the Cobra men are looking forward to an exciting season. The Coker men return all but two members of last season's lineup, including the Conference Carolinas Individual B flight singles champion Guillermo Aylon.
The men, along with their female counterparts, will get their 2012 season underway on Tuesday, Feb. 7 when they travel to Tigerville, S.C. to take on North Greenville University in a Conference Carolinas match at 3 p.m.
