AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The Coker College men's tennis team fell to the Augusta Jags 7-0 in their season opener on Saturday (Feb. 2).
Melwin Krall and Max Sturgess had an impressive performance in doubles action, but were unable to take a set from Augusta's #1 doubles team. Krall and Hunter Horton pushed the Jags in their singles play, but each fell 7-5 in their final sets.
The Cobras will be back in action on Saturday (Feb. 9) when they travel to face USC Aiken in another non-conference matchup. Matches are set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
