2016-17: Porras played in 24 matches in his first season with the Cobras...He recorded 300 assists, 70 digs, and 19 blocks on the season...His 300 assists were the second most on the Cobras...Porras recorded 10 kills, five digs, and two assists in the Cobras 3-0 win over North Greenville on February 4th...Named to the All-IVA Tournament Team as a setter.

Other College: Porras transferred to Coker from Alderson Broaddus University where he played men's volleyball for the Battlers. 

High School: Porras attended Cosby High School where he played volleyball for the Titans...On the court, he was a two-time scholar-athlete award winner, a two-time state runner-up and a 2014 conference champion...His team has two undefeated regular seasons and he finished in second in total aces his senior year. 

Personal: Son of Marilyn and Chris Porras... he has one sibling... his father played lacrosse at West Point.
