XC Takes 1st place at the Downback Invitational
Ian Halle led the Cobras to victory, taking 2nd place individually.
FAYETTEVILLE, NC: Coker took 1st place at the Methodist University Downback Invitational. The Cobras scored 26 points as a team, beating the next closest team by 20 points. Ian Halle was the first to cross the finish line for the Cobras as he took 2nd place.

Coker had all 5 scoring runners in the top 10, absolutely dominating their competition this weekend. What's more impressive is that 3 of their top 5 runners are freshmen competing in their first collegiate meet, including Coker's top finisher, Ian Halle.

Coker will take this momentum on the road next as they travel to Wingate to compete in the Bulldog Stampede (SE Regional Preview) on September 20th.
