Erin Houser '20 Signs Professional Contract with Serbian Club ZKK Duga Sabac
HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Former Coker women’s basketball player Erin Houser recently signed a deal to play professionally overseas. The Orangeburg, S.C. native inked a contract with ZKK (Zenski Kosarkaski Klub) Duga Sabac, an A League club based in Sabac, Serbia.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Former Coker women's basketball player Erin Houser recently signed a deal to play professionally overseas. The Orangeburg, S.C. native inked a contract with ZKK (Zenski Kosarkaski Klub) Duga Sabac, an A League club based in Sabac, Serbia.
Houser was an immediate impact player for the Cobras after transferring from Division I North Carolina Central University, averaging over 9.0 points per game during her sophomore and junior seasons. She took her game to the next level during her senior year as Houser averaged a team-leading 12.2 points per game as well as averaging 10.4 rebounds per game and 1.1 steals per game. Due to her success on and off the basketball court, Houser was named South Atlantic Conference All-Conference Second Team as well as being a member of the 2019-20 South Atlantic Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Houser excelled as a high school player at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School, where she was named Region 8 3A Player of the Year as well as being an All-Area and All-Region selection. She attended NCCU for one year, playing in 24 games before transferring to Coker.
Houser graduated from Coker in 2020 with a degree in sociology with a minor in psychology.
