ROCK HILL, S.C.- Coker women's lacrosse member Faith Kent earned South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Offensive Player of the Week honors for Feb. 26-March 4, as announced by the conference office on Monday (March 5). This is Kent's first Player of the Week selection this season.
Kent scored eight goals and gave out two assists from her attack position on Tuesday (Feb. 27) versus Chowan. The Winter Springs, Fla. native has tied herself for the third time in single game goals, which is also the Coker record. The 10 points gives her a three-way tie for first in the Cobra record book in single game points with herself and teammate Haley McCusker.
On the season, Kent has scored 19 goals and has six assists for a total of 25 points. She has also controlled 11 draws, scooped up two ground balls, and caused one turnover.
The communication major is the daughter of Phyllis Kent.
