HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker College wrestling team hosts the Knights of St. Andrews Wednesday (Dec. 13) at 6:30 p.m in a non-conference match.
The Cobras are coming off of a conference victory over Emmanuel (Ga.), 21-11, which saw four straight Navy and Gold decisions to come from behind for the victory.
Coker is led by Jordon Garlow's 11 wins, including nine pins. His 18 career falls tie him for second all-time as a Cobra. Tyvon Leacock is close behind with 10 victories with five decisions and three pins. Matthew Kieta and Luis Peguero have nine wins each, totaling 12 decisions and three falls. Noah Kile had a sudden victory decision against the Lions, good for his seventh win on the season.
The Cobras have a total of 86 victories on the season, including 21 falls, four technical falls, three major decisions, and 29 decisions.
The Knights come into the match with a 0-1 record and have participated in two opens, the Pembroke Classic and N.C. State Open. Their lone dual meet loss came at Belmont Abbey, 33-12.
