COBRAS TO FACE OFF AGAINST BULLDOGS AND RAILSPLITTERS AS SAC PLAY CONTINUES
TWO FORMIDABLE FOES COME TO HARTSVILLE THIS WEEK TO TAKE ON THE COBRAS
Hartsville, SC - The Cobras are back at it with conference play this week, taking on two solid SAC programs in Wingate and Lincoln Memorial!

Cobra Corner
- Emerson Banning is your SAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week, with a 2-0 mark at first doubles and a 2-0 mark at third singles. She defeated a former SAC Player of the Week to further etch her mark this past week and has been on an overall roll these past few outings.
- Caroline Myers still holds an undefeated mark in singles, battling to a 5-0 record. She will look to hold that mark this week against the Bulldogs and Railsplitters.
- Tamara Macias earned a double-bagel in their last outing, defeating her opponent from Mount Olive 6-0, 6-0 at fifth singles to help the team to victory
Last Time Out
- The Cobras used a hot start in doubles to clinch a 5-2 victory against the Trojans of Mount Olive!
- The doubles courts were swept by the Cobras, highlighted by a dominant showing by Macias and Ilona Hernandez-Sanchez at second doubles. With the doubles point soundly in hand, the Cobras were up 1-0 heading into singles play.
- Only two courts dropped points in singles (one and four) while the others all secured the victory. Macias followed up a dominant doubles showing with a stellar singles performance, and when all was said and done, the Cobras walked away with the win.
