BELLEGY TAKES HOME SAC WOMEN'S TENNIS SCHOLAR-ATHLETE OF THE YEAR
THE SENIOR FINISHES HER CAREER WITH YET ANOTHER ACCOLADE
Rock Hill, SC - Jade Bellegy has been named the SAC Women's Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year, per the release put out by the conference this afternoon!
The senior from Paris, France, had a fantastic year both on and off the court. She was named First-Team All-SAC in both doubles and singles, while finishing the year 17-2 (12-1 SAC) in singles and 15-5 (10-3 SAC) in doubles. She finished her career with a 2-0 performance against Catawba in which she defeated the SAC Player of the Year in singles.
Off the court, she graduated with an impressive 3.885 GPA while holding an internship in her last semester with the Athletic Media Relations department here at Coker. She was also awarded the Female C.G. Timberlake Athlete of the Year award here at Coker, which is given to a student-athlete who best exemplifies the successful combination of academic, athletic, and personal excellence.
Jade is an athlete who exemplifies what a true Cobra is, and we thank her for her hard work and dedication and wish her the best moving forward!
