2016-17: Taylor set the Coker indoor record in the 400-meter dash at the JDL College Kick-off Classic, running a time of 1:00.13.
High School: Taylor attended J.F. Webb High School where she lettered in basketball and track and field for the Warriors. On the track, she was an all-conference selection in the 100-meter, 200-meter, 4 x 100 and 4 x 200. She was also named the female runner of the year. Off the field, she was a member of the honor roll.
Personal: Daughter of Leon Taylor and Joyce Coleman. She has four siblings Micheal, Jaylen, Jovan, La'Shelle.
