Cobras Selected 11th in SAC Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Preseason Poll
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The South Atlantic Conference, headquartered in Rock Hill, S.C., announced its 2025-26 Women's Outdoor Track & Field Preseason Coaches' Poll, with Coker University coming in at No. 11.
The Cobras earned 37 points in the poll. Wingate secured the top position with 132 points and 11 first-place votes, followed by Catawba with 111 points and Tusculum with 106 points.
Lenoir-Rhyne (99 points), Anderson (94), Carson-Newman (91), Lincoln Memorial (77), Mars Hill (61), UVA Wise (49), and Newberry (40) rounded out the top 10.
Coker looks to build off its foundation with a talented group of student-athletes prepared to compete across a variety of events this outdoor season.
Representing the Cobras on the SAC "Athletes to Watch" list are Amelia Artz, Patience Lisbon, Anna Luzzi, and Sydney Watson, showcasing the depth and potential of the women's program.
As the season progresses, the Cobras will aim to exceed preseason expectations and continue developing toward a strong finish in conference competition.
