Coker's Rafalowski to be Inducted into King Hall of Fame
Coker College head women's volleyball coach Julia Rafalowski and the 2003 King University women's volleyball team is set to be inducted in the 2016 King athletics Hall of Fame.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College head women's volleyball coach Julia Rafalowski and the 2003 women's volleyball team at King University will be inducted into the King Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, April 9. The induction and banquet ceremony will take place in the Student Center Complex.
"I am truly honored and blessed to have been apart of this team and now the 2016 Hall of Fame class at King," said Rafalowski. "I just want to thank my parents, coaches, teammates, the King University athletic department and everyone else that was involved in allowing all of this to happen."
The 2003 King women's volleyball finished its season 32-8 and 19-1 in Appalachian Athletic Conference play. They won the regular season and tournament title in the hall of fame season, eventually going on to finish runner-up in NAIA Region XII.
In her time at King, Rafalowski helped guide the Tornado to four Appalachian Conference regular and tournament championships, a regional championship and a trip to the NAIA National Tournament.
