2025 (Sophomore): Played in all 28 matches and appeared in 85 sets...Her 180 kills were the third most on the team and her 206 points were also third best for Coker...Recorded double digit kills in seven matches with a career-best 25 against Carson-Newman...Had double digit digs in nine matches with a career-best 17 at UVA Wise. 

2024 (Freshman): A mainstay as a freshman, she recorded five double-digit kill games, including 13 kills against Emory & Henry on 10/22/24... Also recorded ten games of double-digit digs, including a 20-dig game against Carson-Newman on 11/8/24... Recorded four double-doubles this season of kills and digs (9/5 vs FMU, 9/7 vs Belmont Abbey, 9/13 at Limestone, and 11/6 at Catawba)

High School: Graduated from Blountstown High School... Was named Class 1a District Player of the Year 2023

Bio: Alyssa Carey is a standout volleyball player from Clarksville, Florida, who brings her talents to the Coker University Women's Volleyball team. Standing at an impressive 5'11", Alyssa is a force to be reckoned with on the court. Alyssa's list of achievements is impressive, including being named the Class 1a District Player of the Year in 2023. Her skills as a setter make her an invaluable asset to the team, as she has a keen eye for setting up her teammates for successful plays. Off the court, Alyssa is pursuing a major in Business Management and Accounting, showing her dedication and work ethic both in her academics and athletics.
