Bio
2015-2016: Smullen ran in all seven races for Coker, earning three top-30 finishes. Her best finish came at the FMU Invitational (Oct. 16) when she finished third in 20:01. Her other top-30 finishes came at the CIU Invitational (Sept. 5) when she finished 16th (23:15) and the South Atlantic Conference Championships (Oct. 24) when she finished 24th with a time of 20:12.
2014-15: Smullen had an outstanding freshman campaign for the Navy and Yellow. She was named to the All-SAC honorable mention team after she finished inside the top-30 in all seven of her meets this season. She posted a runner-up finish at the Francis Marion Invitational with a 5k time of 18:55. Her time of 18:55 is now in the Coker women's cross country record books as the top 5k time in program history.
High School: Smullen was a standout track and cross country runner at Spring Valley High School. She earned all-region honors in both cross country and track, while serving as team captain both teams. Her PR for the 5k is 19:45 and her PR for the 800 meter is 2:20.
Personal: Daughter of Ella Smullen and Steven Ware...she has eight siblings.
