Tillman's 35 Points Lead Cobras to Victory over Francis Marion
Coker posted a 76-69 win in the the Conference Challenge hosted by UNC Pembroke
PEMBROKE, N.C. - Shawnteanna Tillman scored a career-high 35 points to lead the Coker women's basketball team to a 76-69 victory over Francis Marion to open the season on Friday night at the Conference Challenge hosted by UNC Pembroke inside the Jones Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Coker led 19-16 at the end of the first quarter thanks to a Tillman three-pointer in the final second of the frame that broke the 16-16 tie.
A Legagneur lay-up a minute in the second quarter gave the Cobras a six-point lead, 22-16.
Francis Marion was able to tie the score at 25-25, but another Tillman long range make gave Coker the lead back, one they would hold for the remainder of the game.
Coker led 38-32 at the half and held a 57-50 lead at the end of the third quarter.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Coker will face host UNC Pembroke on Saturday in the second and final game of the Conference Challenge. The Cobras and Braves will tip off at 1 PM at the Jones Center.
