COKER SETS 2 SCHOOL RECORD AGAINST ALLEN
Coker set a new school record as the Cobras put 13 goals past the Allen University Fighting Yellow Jackets
HARTSVILLE, SC: The Cobras walked away with a massive win in tonight's game. Coker had a school record 13 goals scored in this game as they took down the Fight Yellow Jackets of Allen University. The scoring was led by Isabella Rychel as she scored her first hat-trick of the season for the Cobras.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Coker opened the scoring in the 5th minute of the game as Tilde Karlsson found the back of the net off a redirected header off a set-piece corner play.
- In the 7th and 10th minutes, Ella Wilke and Sofie Sjoedin connected twice for the Cobras to increase their lead by 2. Both goals came off a through ball on the left side of the pitch from Sjoedin to Wilke. Wilke was left with a one-on-one with the keeper both times. First, she just passed the ball past the keeper. For the second goal, Wilke showed wonderful skill to dribble past the keeper to bag her brace.
- Grace Sykes was the next Cobra to find the back of the net as she took on the defense by herself before sending a rocket of a shot into the near post of the goal to get her first goal of her Coker Career.
- Alexis Spivey was the next Cobra to score as she took her chance, much like Sykes, solo against the defense down the right-hand side of the field.
- Spivey turned into an artist after her goal as she got her first of three assists when she set up Tilde Karlsson for the second goal of the contest.
- After getting her second goal of the game, Tilde Karlsson set up Isabella Rychel for her first goal of the season and the game.
- Moments later, Alexis Spivey set up Isabella Rychel for her second goal of the game, coming off the right side of the pitch.
- Another Cobra scored her first goal of the collegiate career as Macaria Hemker scored in the 40th minute of the game.
- Then, to finish out her hat-trick, Isabella Rychel scored off of a Catriona McNeil assist.
- At the end of the first half, the score of 10-0.
- 2 minutes into the second half, Senior Haley Morales-Vasquez scored her first goal of her Coker career after chipping the keeper from just outside of the 18 box.
- Moving into the 48th minute of the game, Ellie Barker scored her first goal of her Coker Career. After a beautiful cross came in from Hannah Nerdinsky, Barker found the back of the net with a touch of finesse into the bottom left corner of the goal off a fantastic volley.
- To finish out the Cobra's scoring, Ellie Barker doubled up her goal tally off a corner sent in by Sami Benge-Kulzer.
NOTABLES:
- Coker set a new school record of goals and goal difference in a single game. The previous record was 11 goals in one game and 10 goal differential in a single game.
- Rhyan Parkin is now 3rd in the all-time record books for clean sheets by a goalkeeper.
- 7 Cobras scored their first goal for Coker in the matchup.
