Wilke named Freshman of the Year and 4 Cobras named to the All-Conference Teams

Rock Hill, SC: Four Cobras were named to the Post-Season All-Conference Teams. 

1. Ella Wilke was named to the 1st team all-conference as a midfielder, tallying  7 goals and 6 assists over the course of the season. The Freshman from Duesseldorf, Germany, was also named the SAC Freshman of the year after her performance throughout the season. Wilke was able to produce some big-time moments for the Cobras all season. Most notable would be her bicycle kick against Catawba to tie the game against the #3 team in the nation with only 14 seconds left in the game.
2. Hannah Denton was named to the 2nd team all-conference as a midfielder, tallying 2 goals and 1 assist for the Cobras. Denton is a key part of the Cobra's midfield, dictating play and acting as a buffer for the Cobra's defense. Her most notable moment from the season was her long-range effort in the final regular season game against Wingate, securing both the win and a 4th place finish in the SAC conference.
3. Emma Brandt was named to the 2nd team all-conference as a defender. Brandt was a leader in the back line all season for the Cobras. Even without having many stats, she played a huge part all season, leading the Cobras' defense to 10 clean sheets over the course of the season.
4. Alexis Spivey was named to the 3rd team all-conference as a forward. Spivey was huge for the Cobras all season, delivering when we needed her most. She was tied second in the conference in overall assists, acting as the orchestrator for the Cobras' offense all season. Her best performance was against Anderson, where she scored the winning goal and assisted Hannah Denton to double the Cobras' lead.
