HARTSVILLE, SC - Coker volleyball dropped a 3-0 decision to visiting Anderson on Friday night inside the DeLoach Center. The Trojans earned the South Atlantic Conference victory with set wins of 25-20, 25-15, and 25-22.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Set 1: Coker led 11-8 before Anderson called a timeout midway through the opening frame. The Trojans responded with five straight points and seven of the next eight to surge ahead, 15-12, and held at least a three-point cushion the rest of the way.
Set 2: Anderson controlled the second set from start to finish, opening with a 3-0 run and stretching the lead to 10-2. The Cobras rallied late, taking eight of the final 13 points, but the deficit proved too much to overcome.
Set 3: Coker scored the first point, but Anderson answered and built a 17-10 advantage. The Cobras stormed back with a 5-0 run to pull within two and later closed the gap to 21-20 and 23-22. However, the Trojans held strong, claiming the final two points to secure the sweep.
