HOW IT HAPPENED:
Set 1: Georgia College jumped out to a 7-3 lead before Coker rallied to take a 10-9 advantage. The Bobcats regained control at 14-11, but the Cobras answered with three straight points to even the score at 14-all. The set remained tightly contested, featuring seven more ties, before Georgia College secured the final two points to claim the opener.
Set 2: Coker took its first lead at 2-1 and never looked back. The Cobras maintained control throughout the set, stretching their advantage to as many as seven points on multiple occasions, including 21-14, before closing it out convincingly, 25-17.
Set 3: Coker held an early 6-3 edge, but Georgia College responded with five consecutive points to take a lead it would not surrender. The Cobras fought back to tie the score at 11-11 and again at 15-15, but the Bobcats finished strong to win the set, 25-18.
Set 4: The final set was another back-and-forth battle that featured 11 ties, including one at 22-22. Georgia College, however, managed to take control late, scoring three of the last four points to secure the set and the match.
